Ride His America
31 stops across 27 highway routes, overhead signs and forks in the road, GPS that rides you to any stop, and a Night Run game mode where every kick and snare in the track becomes a reflector in your lane.
Ryan Austin is a Las Vegas producer, drummer, and motorcycle rider. He wanted his music on a map of America, a sound for every region, with an admin where he could place new songs himself. We built him three places to step into.
His brief was specific: showcase the music, let listeners discover regional sounds by picking places on a U.S. map, make placing a song in the right city easy on his side, and give people a way to book him.
The brief asked for something interactive and immersive. A map with pins would not have been it.
We built one world with three places. The Booth: a red payphone in the rain where you dial a city by its area code. The Ride: a first-person night ride across a map of America built from real elevation and night-light data, where riding toward a city fades in the song placed there. The Garage: his bike, his kit, and his gear, all playable.
One music engine runs underneath all three, so a song never restarts as you move between places, and every scene reacts to beat maps of his own tracks.

A playable drum kit with regional kit presets, pegboard tools that remix the playing song on its own beat, plus a bass, keys, an amp with working knobs, and a cassette deck that plays his music.
From his admin, he uploads a song and places it in a city. The site maps the beat automatically and the song goes live on its own, and anyone who asked to be notified about that city gets an email when its first song lands.
A working rotary dial that travels by area code, a photo board he updates himself, and booking and letter forms that reach his inbox from his own domain’s email.
ryanaustinlv.com launched with his music placed on the map and an admin built around how he adds to it: upload a song, choose the city, and it goes live.
Every new song makes another city worth the ride.
